Only One New LA Completion Reported in Two Weeks

Louisiana has been very light in reported new completions this summer.  There's only been one reported in the past two weeks and three total in the past five weeks.  Given that rig counts have been steady and somewhat higher than previous months, I assume that there will be a flood of new completions coming soon.  When I say "flood" I mean that relative to the current rig count and not compared to the +/- 20 completions per week reported per week two or three years ago.  Here is this week's completion:

  • Hunter 26-15-15 H #5-ALT , Chesapeake Operating: 13.68 MMcf/day IP on 22/64 in. choke at 5,979 psi; Perfs: 11,777-16,297, length: 4,520 ft.; Caspiana Field, Caddo Parish, S26/T15/R15; res. A, serial #245504
