Oklahoma Sen. Inhofe Big on Coal

Interestingly, Oklahoma Sen. James Inhofe seems to be a big coal supporter.  He currently is on a three state tour to boost candidates that support coal, or more specifically bash candidates that support clean air regulations that will reduce the use of coal and increase the use of natural gas.

This is very curious behavior from a senator from Oklahoma, one of the biggest natural gas producing states in the country.  It seems daft to devote time and money to try to eradicate anti-pollution measures that will serve to increase the use of natural gas and benefit his state.  I guess it's just a case of putting party politics ahead of his state's interests.  I wonder which group is putting up the money behind this trip.
