Recent Texas Completions

I came across a few recent Texas completions today:
  • Woods “H” #1H, Comstock Oil & Gas: 8.073 MMcf/day (the report said 80.73 MMcf/day, but I think the decimal was in the wrong place – if I’m wrong, there is a new monster well to beat all others!) on 24/64” choke; North Carthage Field, Harrison Co., Bossier Shale
  • Blocker Heirs #12H, GMX Resources, Inc.: 7.52 MMcf/day on 12/64” choke; North Carthage Field, Harrison Co., Haynesville/Bossier (GMX self-reported this well about a month ago with a 24 hour IP of 9.4 MMcf/day)
  • Blocker Ware #19H, GMX Resources, Inc.:  6.804 MMcf/day on 15/64” choke; North Carthage Field, Harrison Co. Haynesville/Bossier (GMX self-reported this well about a month ago with a 24 hour IP of 8.9 MMcf/day)
  • Baldwin #14H, GMX Resources, Inc.: 7.552 MMcf/day on 28/64” choke; North Carthage Field, Harrison Co. Haynesville/Bossier (GMX self-reported this well about a month ago with a 24 hour IP of 9.2 MMcf/day)
  • Verhalen “A” #2H, GMX Resources, Inc.: 4.336 MMcf/day on 16/64” choke; North Carthage Field, Harrison Co. Haynesville/Bossier (GMX self-reported this well about a month ago with a 24 hour IP of 8.5 MMcf/day)
