Forest Oil: Not Much New to Report

Forest Oil reported earnings this week, but the company didn't have a whole lot new to add about its Haynesville operations. One snippet: after 30 days of production, the company's recently reported well Steele #2-H had an average flow rate of 8.0 MMcf/day. Other than that, it's similar news: they want to do more frac stages, drilling costs and number of day s are decreasing, more proppant is being used. Bottom line: they are getting better as they drill more wells.
