Chesapeake Type Curves

In its operational update last week, Chesapeake Energy published type curves from five of its major gas plays. I thought it was interesting to look at them all side-by-side (or in this case, top-to-bottom). The slides show the curves as well as the IP rates and EURs (estimated ultimate reserves) for each play. They also indicate how the curve has changed as the company has learned from the wells it has drilled. Because decline rates are a key issue in the Haynesville Shale, it is interesting to see how they compare to other plays. Starting with the Haynesville Shale:
